We have chosen to sponsor our students in their home countries, rather than bring them to the United States.
The two main reasons for this are:
1- Change: This is really at the heart of why we choose to sponsor our students in their home country. We feel that by helping them gain an education in their home country and joining the workforce there, they can work toward changing their communities.
2- Financial: This is a lesser but equally important reason. It is simply more economical to sponsor a student in their home country. The US dollar will stretch further there than it will here.
